Samsun farmer establishes aronia berry plantation in Ladik

Niyazi Küçük, a 54-year-old worker living in France, has begun harvesting aronia berries from an 11-decare plantation he established in the Ladik district of Samsun, Turkey.

After researching crops suitable for the cool climate of Ladik, Küçük transitioned from a hobby to professional production. He aims to provide a healthy, vitamin-rich fruit for his community and intends to move back to Turkey permanently upon his retirement in one year.

Küçük has designed the garden to allow customers to pick their own fruit, offering them an opportunity to relieve stress while enjoying the harvest.
