Samsun health infrastructure projects reach 6.4 billion TL

The Turkish Ministry of Health is executing a series of large-scale healthcare infrastructure projects in Samsun, with total investments reaching 6.416 billion TL. Several facilities, including the Samsun City Hospital, Ayvacık Community Health Center, and Vezirköprü Emergency Health Center, have already been completed and are operational.

Significant construction is ongoing for several major projects. The 250-bed Tekkeköy State Hospital, valued at 1.649 billion TL, is 62% complete, while the 350-bed Atakum State Hospital, a 2.42 billion TL project, has reached 46% completion. Other ongoing works include the Alaçam-Yakakent State Hospital (90% complete), the Çarşamba Healthy Life Center (87% complete), and the Ayvacık State Hospital (13% complete).

Additionally, a new Samsun Provincial Health Directorate building is being constructed in the İlkadım district. This 599 million TL facility will house a public health laboratory, a healthy life center, and a 112 Command Control Center. The project is currently 25% complete, with a target completion date of May 4, 2027.
