Turkey industrial zones advance infrastructure and safety projects
Various industrial development and safety initiatives are underway across several Turkish Organized Industrial Zones (OSB).
In Samsun, Governor Orhan Tavlı led meetings to advance infrastructure in the Vezirköprü and Havza regions. Key developments include zoning changes for small-scale manufacturing in Vezirköprü and a 1 billion TL railway loading ramp and connection line project in the Havza Organized Industrial and Technology Zone to bolster logistics capacity.
In Hatay, infrastructure work has officially commenced for the Hassa OSB, a project spanning 1,347 hectares intended to boost regional production, investment, and employment.
Meanwhile, in Kayseri, industry leaders and academics held a summit focused on earthquake safety for industrial structures. The discussions addressed geotechnical assessments, damping solutions for industrial buildings, and reinforcement methods for prefabricated structures to protect the nation's production capacity from seismic risks.
