Samsun murder investigation reveals bullet found in cow's udder

An investigation into a fatal shooting in the Tekkeköy district of Samsun has revealed a strange development. A bullet, believed to have been fired during the incident, was reportedly discovered in a cow's udder several days after the event.

The incident occurred on August 11 in the Yağbasan neighborhood. A dispute broke out between M. Ç., a resident of France visiting to harvest hazelnuts, and his uncle, İbrahim Çam (73), and cousin, Recep Çam, over the pruning of a quince tree. During the argument, M. Ç. allegedly shot his uncle with a handgun. İbrahim Çam died while being transported to the hospital.

M. Ç. was apprehended by gendarmerie forces and referred to the Samsun Courthouse on August 13. In his statement, M. Ç. claimed he acted in response to insults and that he was also injured during the altercation. He stated he carried the weapon for protection due to existing family feuds.
