Samsun street cat named Pala Remzi attracts local attention

A street cat named ‘Pala Remzi’ has become a local attraction in the Saathane area of the İlkadım district in Samsun. The black-and-white cat is known for the distinctive black fur around its nose and mouth, which resembles a large mustache.

Local shopkeepers, who feed the cat, have embraced its unique appearance. One local tradesman, Ahmet Karatay, noted the cat’s popularity, jokingly comparing its facial hair to his own. While the cat is often shy and avoids being photographed, its unusual look continues to draw visitors to the area.
