Samsung aims to support India in leading global technological innovation

Samsung South West Asia President and CEO JB Park announced the company’s ambition to support India in leading the next wave of global technological innovation as the firm marks 30 years of operations in the country.

Park noted that India has transitioned from a market for imported global technologies to a hub for imagining, engineering, and developing technology for the world. Samsung’s R&D engineers in Bengaluru and Noida are currently collaborating with global teams to develop next-generation artificial intelligence (AI) experiences.

The company aims to leverage India’s scale and diversity to design intuitive and inclusive solutions. These innovations, developed to meet the specific needs of the Indian market, are intended to benefit consumers globally. Samsung’s local investments also encompass manufacturing, R&D, talent development, and education.
