Samsung and Acer offer discounts on high-end gaming monitors

The high-end gaming monitor market is seeing significant price reductions across several major brands. Acer’s Predator X32 4K QD-OLED monitor, featuring a 240Hz refresh rate and 0.03ms response time, is currently priced at $679.99, nearing its historical low.

Samsung is also offering substantial discounts. Its 57-inch Odyssey Neo G9 curved monitor is available on Amazon for $1,499.99, a 29% reduction from its original price. Additionally, Samsung’s 27-inch Odyssey OLED G6 and 27-inch Odyssey G8 5K models have seen price cuts, with the G8 reaching a historical low of $599.99.

Industry analysis from Omdia suggests a continuing downward trend for OLED monitors through 2026. While Samsung Display and LG Display remain the primary panel suppliers, TCL China Star is expected to enter the market in 2026, potentially lowering manufacturing costs for larger OLED panels by 2028.
