Samsung and budget smartphone manufacturers release new models
The budget smartphone market features several new entries and competitive models. Samsung has launched the Galaxy A18 LTE, its most affordable model in the next-generation Galaxy A series. The device utilizes the Exynos 1610 chipset, offering improved single-core and multi-core performance over its predecessor. It features a 6.7-inch LCD screen with a 90 Hz refresh rate, a 5000 mAh battery, and an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance.
Other notable budget options include the Nothing Phone (4a) Pro, which features a 144 Hz AMOLED display and a periscope telecamera with 3.5x optical zoom, though it lacks wireless charging. The Realme 16 Pro+ is highlighted for its large battery and periscope teleoptics, despite having mid-range processor performance. Both devices offer high-end camera features rarely seen in their respective price brackets.
