Samsung and LG unveil AI‑driven TV innovations in Brazil

Samsung introduced new artificial‑intelligence features for its televisions in Brazil as part of the "Só a Samsung Tem" campaign. The rollout highlights Vision AI Companion, a conversational system that lets users ask real‑time questions about live sports without leaving the broadcast, and Stadium Mode, which automatically adjusts picture and sound settings to simulate an arena experience. The company also promotes deeper integration across its ecosystem, enabling control via Galaxy Watch and SmartThings.

LG’s OLED evo AI C5 was named TV of the Year by Canaltech, praised for its OLED panel that delivers true blacks and high contrast, and for AI‑based image processing powered by the α9 Gen8 chip. The TV also features AI Sound Pro for a virtual 11.1‑channel audio effect, webOS with promised updates for up to five years, and gaming support including 4K at 144 Hz, VRR, G‑Sync, FreeSync Premium and Dolby Vision Gaming.

Both manufacturers are emphasizing AI as a differentiator in the competitive Brazilian TV market, aiming to turn televisions into connected, immersive entertainment hubs.
