Samsung and LG products named among TIME’s Best Inventions of 2026

TIME Magazine has announced its ‘Best Inventions of 2026’ list, featuring several prominent products from South Korean technology companies.

Samsung Electronics secured three placements: the Galaxy S26 Ultra in consumer electronics, recognized for its ‘Privacy Display’ that limits side-angle viewing; the Bespoke AI Family Hub refrigerator in home appliances, noted for its ‘AI Vision’ ingredient management; and the Odyssey G8 gaming monitor in the entertainment and gaming category for its 6K resolution capabilities.

LG Electronics was also honored with the LG Signature OLED W in the consumer electronics category. The ultra-slim wallpaper TV was praised for its wireless transmission technology and ‘Zero Connect Box,’ which eliminates complex cabling by allowing external devices to connect up to 10 meters away.

Additionally, the South Korean startup Mango Slave had its ‘Nemonic Dot’ AI braille label printer selected in the accessibility category. The device allows users to create braille labels via voice or text input, facilitating easier information access for the visually impaired.
