Samsung expands One UI 9 beta and launches Galaxy S26 FE
Samsung is expanding its One UI 9 beta program, which is based on Android 17. Originally launched for the Galaxy S26 series, the testing phase now includes a wide range of devices, including the Galaxy S25, S24, and S23 series, as well as several foldable models like the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7. In a notable expansion, mid-range devices such as the Galaxy A57, A56, and A36 have also been added to the program in certain markets.
The beta rollout is currently limited to specific regions, primarily the United States, United Kingdom, India, South Korea, and Poland. Users can enroll through the Samsung Members app to access the new interface, which features enhanced customization for the quick panel and improved tools for Samsung DeX and Samsung Notes.
Additionally, Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy S26 FE. This semi-premium model features advanced camera capabilities, including My FanCam and Super Steady with Horizontal Lock, alongside context-aware Galaxy AI features. The device is designed to provide flagship-level experiences, such as 3x optical zoom and AI-driven photo assistance, at a more accessible price point.
