Samsung announces new Bespoke AI washing machines for IFA 2026

Samsung has announced two new Bespoke AI washing machine models to be showcased at IFA 2026 in Berlin. The company aims to address traditional trade-offs between energy efficiency, capacity, and physical footprint.

The first model is a 10 kg unit designed to achieve 70% higher energy efficiency compared to the EU Class A baseline. This follows previous iterations that reached 55% and 65% efficiency levels. The efficiency gains were achieved through improvements in motor mechanics, thermal management, and algorithmic washing patterns.

The second model is a 13 kg high-capacity washer engineered to fit within a standard 600 mm depth. Utilizing SpaceMax technology, the machine increases internal drum volume to accommodate larger loads while maintaining a compact exterior suitable for standard cabinetry. The design features a streamlined chassis and an integrated touch display for user interaction.
