Samsung begins development of Galaxy A58 and A38 models
Samsung has begun the development process for its next generation of mid-range smartphones, according to official GSMA database registrations. The upcoming lineup includes the Galaxy A58 and Galaxy A38, which are projected for a global release in March 2027.
Technical documentation identifies specific regional variants, such as the SM-A586B/DS for global dual-SIM markets and the SM-A586U for the United States. In addition to the A-series, the registrations include the Galaxy F70 5G, aimed at the entry-level segment in India, and the Galaxy XCover 8, a ruggedized model designed for corporate use.
To mitigate rising costs caused by high demand for memory semiconductors in the AI sector, Samsung is expected to utilize more energy-efficient processors while maintaining existing RAM and storage capacities to prevent significant price increases for consumers.
