Samsung expands One UI 9 rollout for Galaxy S26 and other devices
Samsung is expanding the global rollout of its One UI 9 software update, based on Android 17, across multiple device lines. The deployment began with the Galaxy S26 series in South Korea and the United States, and is now reaching users in Europe, India, and Brazil.
In addition to the S26 series, stable updates are appearing for the Galaxy S25 series, as well as the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Z Flip7. Older compatible models, including the Galaxy S23 series and certain Z Fold/Flip models from previous generations, are expected to receive the update in the coming weeks.
The update introduces several Galaxy AI-driven features, such as ‘My FanCam’, which automatically tracks and centers a specific person in a video, and ‘Now Nudge’, which provides contextual suggestions during conversations. Other enhancements include customizable ‘Now Brief’ cards, improved Creative Studio tools, and enhanced privacy and security alerts. Users are advised to ensure they have approximately 4 GB of free space and a stable Wi-Fi connection before beginning the installation.
