Samsung confirms Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra specs ahead of London launch

Samsung's upcoming foldable flagship has been officially confirmed through a Bluetooth SIG certification record, confirming the name Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra. The Ultra model is listed with a 5,000 mAh battery, 45 W wired fast‑charging, a weight of 215 g and a thickness of just 4.1 mm when open, and a 50 MP main camera sensor. Its standard counterpart, the Galaxy Z Fold 8, is expected to carry a 4,800 mAh battery with the same 45 W charging speed, a 5.4‑inch cover display and a 7.6‑inch crease‑less internal panel, both using 120 Hz Dynamic AMOLED 2X panels. Both phones will be powered by Samsung’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy processor, ship with 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage, and include stereo speakers and a side‑mounted fingerprint reader. Samsung plans to unveil the Galaxy Z Fold 8, the Z Fold 8 Ultra and the Galaxy Z Flip 8 at an event in London on 22 July.
