Samsung confirms Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra name and unveils new vibrant wallpapers

A recent Bluetooth certification listing confirms the official market name of Samsung’s upcoming premium foldable as the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, ending earlier speculation about alternative naming schemes. The certification covers several model numbers, including SM-F976C and SM-F976Q, and suggests a top‑end version with a 5,000 mAh battery, 45 W wired charging and a triple rear‑camera setup, while a standard model may have a smaller battery and fewer sensors.

Leaked official wallpapers for the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, Z Fold8 and Z Flip8 reveal a range of bold colours—green, pink, a light‑pink‑blue blend and yellow—alongside a design that transforms an eight‑shaped motif on the closed screen into a spiral when opened. The leaks, posted by leaker Fahad Ali Javedno X, also hint at a more vibrant visual direction for Samsung’s 2026 foldable lineup. Samsung is expected to announce the devices between July and August, alongside other products such as the Galaxy Watch 9 and Watch Ultra 2.
