Samsung C&T expands AI building platform Bynd ecosystem
Samsung C&T Construction Division held its ‘SIGNAL 2026’ Partners Day to promote the expansion of its smart commercial building platform, Bynd. The event focused on the AI transformation (AX) of commercial buildings and sought to foster collaboration between building owners, asset managers, tenants, and technology solution providers.
Bynd, launched in October 2024, utilizes agentic AI for space control, 3D digital twins, and cloud-based energy and lease management. A key feature of the platform is its data fusion capability, which integrates disparate data streams—such as power consumption and access records—to identify inefficiencies like unnecessary vacancy or energy waste.
Samsung C&T aims to build an open ecosystem where increasing the number of technical partners enhances the precision of the platform's data analysis. The company has already established partnerships with AI startup Liner to advance automated reporting and energy optimization, and is collaborating with Neuromeka to implement Physical AI-based building management.
