Samsung C&T to build 1.8 trillion won landmark in Seoul's Seongsu District

Samsung C&T has been selected as the construction company for the Seongsu District 3 redevelopment project in Seongdong-gu, Seoul. The project, valued at approximately 1.8275 trillion won, involves the construction of 11 buildings totaling 2,203 residential units and various commercial and office facilities.

The new complex, proposed under the name ‘Raemian Revir Seongsu’, will feature a landmark skyscraper reaching a maximum height of 250 meters (72 floors). Samsung C&T is collaborating with British architectural firm Foster + Partners for the exterior design and landscape, and American landscape design group SWA to create a 16,000-pyeong central plaza.

Key design features include specialized Han River views for 1,216 units, achieved through the use of Foster + Partners’ ‘Cyclops’ view analysis solution. The development will also include high-end residential spaces called ‘Revir Suites’ and extensive community facilities, such as a 55-meter ‘Club Riverfront’ panorama bridge featuring a pool and lounge.
