Samsung C&T to expand senior living business with Samsung Noble Life

Samsung C&T Construction Division has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Samsung Noble Life to expand its senior living and care business. The partnership focuses on the joint development of senior residences and nursing homes, as well as the creation of specialized life care services for residents in multi-family housing.

Under the agreement, Samsung C&T will handle specialized design, construction, and the implementation of ‘Everring’, its AI-based senior living solution. Samsung Noble Life, a specialist in senior living and care established by Samsung Life Insurance, will manage operational services. The collaboration aims to address the ‘aging in place’ trend by extending professional care services from dedicated senior facilities to general apartment residents.

The companies will also collaborate on research and development for age-tech services, utilizing Samsung Noble County as a testing ground. This includes utilizing healthcare data management, AI behavior analysis, and home AI companion robots to improve care environments and reduce the workload of nighttime staff.
