Samsung develops Galaxy H1 premium over-ear headphones

Samsung is reportedly developing a new line of premium audio products, including a flagship over-ear headphone model currently using the internal codename ‘Galaxy H1’. Evidence discovered within the Galaxy Wearable app suggests these headphones are intended to compete directly with high-end models such as the Apple AirPods Max, Sony WH-1000X series, and Bose QuietComfort Ultra.

Expected technical specifications for the Galaxy H1 include Bluetooth 6.0, adaptive active noise cancellation (ANC), and high-resolution audio support via the SSC UHQ codec. The device is also anticipated to feature deep integration with Galaxy AI for personalized sound experiences and seamless switching between Samsung ecosystem devices.

In addition to the over-ear model, leaks indicate Samsung may be working on open-ear designs, including clip-on models (possibly ‘Galaxy Buds On’) and hook-style headphones (possibly ‘Galaxy Buds Canal’). While a final release date and official name have not been confirmed, current projections suggest a potential market launch as early as 2027.
