Samsung Display debuts OBLYX gaming OLED line; BIGME launches 25.3‑inch e‑ink monitor in China
Samsung Display attended Bilibili World 2026 in Shanghai from July 10‑12, marking its first appearance at the major Chinese ACG exhibition. Partnering with Tencent, the company showcased QD‑OLED and OLED displays, highlighted low‑gray performance, fast response and colour accuracy, and introduced a new OLED gaming brand called OBLYX, emphasizing pure‑black picture quality for the country’s roughly 680 million gamers. Samsung Display also displayed products from partners such as Acer, ASUS, Lenovo and others, underscoring its intent to expand in the Chinese gaming market.
Chinese manufacturer BIGME released the B251 PRO, a 25.3‑inch colour e‑ink (ink‑based) monitor priced at ¥10,999. The device offers a 3200×1800 resolution, a 60 fps refresh rate, 4096 colours, eye‑care features, phone‑to‑screen casting, rotatable portrait/landscape modes, voice control and infrared remote operation, and includes DP, HDMI and USB‑C ports. It is positioned as a premium, eye‑friendly display for office and multimedia use.
