Samsung partners with Kunsthistorisches Museum Vienna for digital art collection

Samsung Electronics has announced a new partnership with the Kunsthistorisches Museum Vienna to bring 43 iconic masterpieces to the Samsung Art Store. This collaboration follows previous partnerships with the Louvre and the Prado Museum.

The collection features works by renowned artists, including Pieter Bruegel the Elder’s ‘The Tower of Babel’, Johannes Vermeer’s ‘The Art of Painting’, and Gustav Klimt’s ‘Nuda Veritas’. Other featured masters include Rubens, Velázquez, Caravaggio, Titian, Rembrandt, and Raphael.

To enhance the viewing experience, Samsung is utilizing its high-resolution 4K technology and anti-reflective matte display coatings. These features are designed to allow users to view fine details and maintain clarity even in bright or well-lit environments, aiming to bridge the gap between traditional museum visits and home digital viewing.
