Samsung Electronics focuses on AI integration and Galaxy S26 security
Samsung Electronics is positioning itself as a leader in the AI transformation era, focusing on integrating artificial intelligence and robotics into daily life. During the 2026 Technology Forum held at the Samsung US Research center in Mountain View, Silicon Valley, executives discussed the company's mid-to-long-term vision of expanding AI from a purely technical tool to an essential daily companion.
In line with this technological shift, the Galaxy S26 series emphasizes a multi-dimensional security approach. The hardware features include Corning Gorilla Armor 2 and an industry-first hardware-level anti-peeping display on the Ultra model to protect privacy in public spaces.
On the digital side, the series utilizes the Samsung Knox platform to provide end-to-end security. This includes the Knox Enhanced Encrypted Protection (KEEP) architecture and Knox Vault, which physically isolates sensitive data like biometric information and financial credentials. Additionally, Galaxy AI features such as call screening are integrated to help users identify and manage potential spam or fraudulent calls.
