Samsung Electronics showcases AI appliances and B2B solutions in Vietnam
Samsung Electronics hosted its ‘The Brief’ technology seminar at the Business Experience Studio in Hanoi, Vietnam, to showcase its latest AI-integrated home appliances and commercial solutions tailored for the Southeast Asian market.
For consumers, the company demonstrated the Bespoke AI family, highlighting refrigerators equipped with ‘AI Vision’ technology. This feature uses internal cameras to recognize food items with high accuracy, allowing for real-time inventory management, automated shopping lists via the ‘FoodNote’ widget, and recipe recommendations through the SmartThings platform. Samsung also emphasized long-term support, promising up to seven years of software updates for compatible Wi-Fi-enabled products.
In the commercial and B2B sectors, Samsung presented specialized solutions for hospitality, offices, and data centers. This includes high-turnover commercial laundry systems designed for hotels and residential facilities, as well as advanced Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems. To address the hot and humid climate of Southeast Asia, Samsung introduced the Bespoke AI WindFree Pro air conditioner and showcased large-scale system air conditioning units for commercial buildings. The company is also expanding its enterprise footprint through the acquisition of FläktGroup to bolster its presence in data center cooling and industrial HVAC markets.
