Samsung improves Galaxy Z Fold8 migration as Belgrade deploys new traffic cameras

Samsung has enhanced the data migration process for the new Galaxy Z Fold8 series through One UI 9. Using the Smart Switch application, users transitioning from iOS can now transfer a wider range of data, including passwords, access keys, call history, accessibility settings, and eSIM information. The update allows for easier wireless connections and enables users to start the transfer simply by scanning a QR code on the new Galaxy device, eliminating the need to manually install the app on an iOS device.

In Belgrade, a new traffic enforcement system consisting of 30 cameras has been deployed across major roads, intersections, and city entrances. The system is designed to automatically record various violations, such as speeding, running red lights, failing to use seatbelts, and using mobile phones while driving. Data is sent directly to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, with fines issued via mail or the e-Uprava portal. Authorities state the system aims to increase road safety, noting that existing cameras in the city record an average of 120 violations daily.
