Samsung ennovateX 2026 explores the future of proactive AI

Samsung R&D Institute India-Bangalore (SRI-B) has concluded the second edition of Samsung ennovateX 2026. The conference, themed ‘AI for Living,’ brought together over 300 technology leaders, researchers, academics, and startups to discuss the future of artificial intelligence.

The event focused on the transition from traditional AI tools to proactive and agentic AI systems. These advanced systems are designed to be context-aware and capable of planning and executing multi-step tasks to achieve specific outcomes, rather than simply responding to individual prompts. Discussions covered topics such as unified AI operating systems, multimodal and physical AI, 6G, and AI-RAN infrastructure.

Mohan Rao, Corporate Vice President and Managing Director of SRI-B, stated that the goal is to build AI that is deeply personal and responsibly designed to become a natural part of everyday life. The conference included keynote sessions, panel discussions, a startup pitch, and an AX hackathon.
