Samsung expands ecosystem with Galaxy Book6 and DeX updates

Samsung has expanded its ecosystem through new hardware and software capabilities. The company officially introduced the Galaxy Book6, a lightweight laptop designed for daily productivity and students. The device features Intel Core i3 or i5 processors, options for 8 GB to 16 GB of RAM, and storage capacities ranging from 256 GB to 1 TB. It is integrated with Galaxy AI to assist with content creation and productivity.

In the mobile sector, Samsung DeX continues to serve as a desktop mode for various Galaxy devices, including the S series, Note series, and Foldable series. While DeX has been a staple for Galaxy users, the arrival of Android 16 introduces a native desktop mode from Google, which aims to bring similar functionality to a broader range of manufacturers beyond the Samsung ecosystem.
