Samsung expands language support for Galaxy AI and Bixby
Samsung has announced a significant expansion of language support for its Galaxy AI suite and Bixby voice assistant. The update aims to improve accessibility for international users by integrating more native languages into core artificial intelligence features.
For Galaxy AI, the expansion includes the addition of Malay and Hungarian support for key tools such as Call Assist, Note Assist, Interpreter, and Transcript Assist. This brings the total number of supported languages for these features to 24. Additionally, the Now Nudge feature has added eight new languages, including Dutch, Filipino, Gujarati, Hungarian, Malay, Romanian, Swedish, and Turkish, also reaching a total of 24 supported languages.
Samsung’s Bixby assistant is also receiving an update, adding support for Polish, Thai, and Vietnamese. This brings the total number of languages Bixby can understand to 12. The rollout for Bixby’s new language capabilities began on October 14, while the broader Galaxy AI language updates are expected to be deployed to compatible devices in the coming weeks.
