Samsung expands Galaxy Watch lineup with Ultra2 and Watch9 models
Samsung has released updated smartwatch models, including the Galaxy Watch Ultra2 and the Galaxy Watch9, featuring significant hardware improvements.
The Galaxy Watch Ultra2 is designed for extreme outdoor activities. It features a 47mm titanium case and a Super AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 5,000 nits, ensuring visibility in direct sunlight. The device is powered by the 3nm Snapdragon Wear Elite platform and includes an 800mAh battery. It has received EN13319 professional diving certification, 10ATM water resistance, and IP69K protection. New software features include a dedicated Depth app for diving and hydration reminders for trail running.
The Galaxy Watch9 (40mm) utilizes the Qualcomm SW6100 Penta-Core 3nm processor as part of the Snapdragon Wear Elite platform. It runs on Wear OS7 with One UI 9 Watch, offering 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. The model features a 1.34-inch Super AMOLED display with 3,000 nits peak brightness and sapphire crystal glass. It is built with Armor Aluminum and holds IP68 and MIL-STD-810H certifications.
