Samsung expands One UI 9.0 testing to 49 Galaxy devices, adds new foldable features

Samsung has begun internal testing of its One UI 9.0 software on 49 different Galaxy models, covering the S series (including S25, S24, S23 lines), Z Fold and Z Flip series, A and M mid‑range phones, as well as Tab tablets. While the public beta is still limited to the upcoming S26 series, the wide testing roster indicates Samsung aims to provide at least three major Android upgrades for many of its recent flagship and entry‑level devices.

The One UI 9.0 release brings several new options for the latest foldable phones, such as network‑restriction switches for browsers and games, a toggle to disable background‑sound protection, adjustable audio‑hardening levels (high, medium, low), and a Bixby gesture activation setting that launches the voice assistant without voice prompts.
