Samsung expands Samsung TV Plus content library

Samsung is expanding the content library of its ad-supported streaming service, Samsung TV Plus. The platform, which is integrated into Samsung Smart TVs and serves over 100 million monthly active users, is introducing new channels and movies to its catalog.

In Spain, the service has added five new free channels: “LOL España” for comedy, “Inazuma Eleven” for anime, “Pitufo TV” and “Teletubbies” for children, and “Los asesinatos de Midsomer” for mystery and crime fiction. The update also includes a reorganization of existing channels.

In the United States, the service is highlighting a variety of film genres for September, including horror titles such as the “Insidious” series, action films like “Die Hard,” and various romantic comedies and dramas. The service remains free to users through an ad-supported model.
