Samsung expands Solve for Tomorrow innovation program

Samsung has expanded its ‘Solve for Tomorrow’ program, a tech-for-good competition designed to help young people develop innovative solutions to real-world problems.

In India, the program’s Top 40 innovators participated in an immersive Innovation Bootcamp across Gurugram, Delhi, Noida, and Bengaluru. The participants visited Samsung’s design and R&D institutes to learn about the processes of engineering, PCB design, AI applications, and human-centric design. More than half of the Indian cohort hails from Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities.

In the UK and Ireland, the competition is entering its seventh year, inviting 11-to-18-year-olds to submit tech-based solutions for community and environmental issues. The program aims to provide students with access to industry experts and mentoring to bridge the gap between classroom learning and professional careers. Samsung has stated an ambition to positively impact one million young people by 2030 through such initiatives.
