Samsung previews AI-powered Galaxy Watch ahead of July Unpacked

Samsung has released a teaser confirming that its next Galaxy Watch will serve as an AI‑driven health companion. The smartwatch is designed to run continuously in the background, delivering personalized health insights, real‑time wellness recommendations and more accurate tracking of sleep, activity and other metrics.

The company says the new watch will feature upgraded internal components and a larger battery to extend monitoring periods. A hardware leak reports that Samsung plans to replace its Exynos smartwatch chip with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Wear Elite built on a 3 nm process, paired with 2 GB RAM and either 32 GB or 64 GB storage. Battery capacities are expected to be 325 mAh for the 40 mm model, 445 mAh for the 44 mm model, and a significant jump to 800 mAh for the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2.

Samsung will unveil the full details of the AI‑enhanced Galaxy Watch series at the Galaxy Unpacked event scheduled for 22 July 2026. Teaser messages have been published in Brazil, Bosnia‑Herzegovina, India and China ahead of the launch.
