Samsung Galaxy A18 specs revealed via Geekbench leak

The Samsung Galaxy A18 has appeared on the Geekbench database, revealing key specifications for the upcoming smartphone. The device, identified by model code SM-A185G, features a MediaTek MT6789 octa-core chip, also known as the Helio G99. This is the same processor used in the previous Galaxy A17 4G model.

Technical details from the benchmark indicate the device is equipped with 4GB of RAM and is running Android 17, likely featuring Samsung's One UI 9 interface. In testing, the phone achieved a single-core score of 745 and a multi-core score of 2,073. A secondary 4G version with model code SM-A185F was also spotted on Samsung's European servers.

Design leaks suggest the phone will utilize an Infinity-U notch for the front display and a vertically aligned triple-camera setup on the rear. While an official launch date has not been announced, reports suggest Samsung may launch the 4G version first, followed by a 5G version equipped with a Qualcomm chip. Mass production for the 4G model is expected to begin soon, with significant production targets set for the coming months.
