Samsung Galaxy A27 5G launches worldwide with upgraded specs and six‑year support

Samsung officially unveiled the Galaxy A27 5G, the latest mid‑range model in its Galaxy A series. The device features a 6.7‑inch Super AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and an Infinity‑O punch‑hole design. Power comes from a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset built on a 4 nm process, paired with 6 GB or 8 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and storage options of 128 GB, 256 GB or expandable up to 2 TB via microSD. The camera array includes a 50 MP main sensor with optical image stabilization, a 5 MP ultra‑wide lens, a 2 MP macro lens, and a 12 MP front camera. A 5 000 mAh battery supports 25 W fast charging. Samsung’s “Awesome Intelligence” suite adds AI tools such as Circle‑to‑Search (multi‑object recognition), Object Eraser, and Voice Transcription with real‑time translation in 22 languages, and it supports AI assistants Google Gemini, Perplexity and Bixby. The phone is IP64 rated, runs Android 16 with One UI 8.5, and Samsung promises six generations of OS upgrades and six years of security patches. Pricing varies by market, ranging from €349 to €449 in Europe, ₱18 990–₱21 990 in the Philippines, NT$11 990–NT$13 490 in Taiwan, and about $350 in the United States. sales begin on 3 July 2026 in most regions, with launches in the Philippines, Argentina, Romania, Spain, Portugal, Taiwan and other countries.
