Samsung expands One UI 9 testing to 22 Galaxy devices

Samsung is testing its upcoming One UI 9 interface, built on Android 17, across a broad range of Galaxy hardware. Internal testing covers legacy flagships such as the S25, S24 and S23 series, while an open‑beta program is running on the newest S26 line. The test pool also includes the Z Fold 7, Z Flip 7 foldables, mid‑range A‑series phones (A57, A56, A35, A34, A17, A16) and several Galaxy tablets (Tab S11, Tab S11 Ultra, Tab S10+, Tab S10 Ultra). In total, Samsung has confirmed testing on 22 different models. The company plans to launch the stable One UI 9 version in late July, with the first devices expected to be the upcoming Z Fold 8 Ultra, Z Fold 8 and Z Flip 8. The update brings AI‑driven features, enhanced multitasking with adaptive‑first design, privacy controls and performance optimisations.
