Samsung Galaxy A38 reportedly to feature 6,000 mAh battery

Leaked specifications suggest the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A38 will feature a significant battery upgrade, potentially marking the first 6,000 mAh capacity in the Galaxy A series. Reports indicate the device will have a rated capacity of 5,882 mAh, which is approximately a 20% increase over the 5,000 mAh battery found in the Galaxy A37.

While the battery capacity is expected to grow, other hardware specifications may remain largely unchanged. The device is rumored to retain a camera configuration consisting of a 50 MP main lens, an 8 MP ultra-wide lens, a 5 MP macro sensor, and a 12 MP front-facing camera. Charging speeds are expected to remain at 45W fast wired charging.

The Galaxy A38, along with the Galaxy A58, is anticipated to launch in global markets, including Europe and India, around March or April 2027. Analysts suggest that while the battery provides a major functional upgrade, the device may represent a minor iterative update in other areas, potentially leading to higher retail prices compared to previous generations.
