Samsung launches Galaxy A27 5G in Brazil with 50 MP camera

Samsung introduced the Galaxy A27 5G to the Brazilian market as the successor to the A26 5G. The mid‑range device is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor, paired with LPDDR5X RAM (6 GB or 8 GB) and offers internal storage of 128 GB or 256 GB. It features a 6.7‑inch Super AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection and an Infinity‑O cut‑out.

The camera array includes a 50 MP primary sensor with optical image stabilization, a 5 MP ultra‑wide lens, and a 2 MP macro sensor; the front‑facing camera is 12 MP with HDR. Battery capacity remains at 5 000 mAh with 25 W fast charging. Samsung highlighted AI‑driven features such as automatic object removal in photos, voice transcription, and integrated Gemini and Perplexity services. The phone is rated IP64 for water resistance and will receive six years of Android and security updates. Pricing at launch is R$ 2 299 for the 128 GB model and R$ 2 799 for the 256 GB variant.
