Samsung Galaxy Buds On leaks reveal new clip-on design

Leaked renders and information suggest that Samsung is preparing to launch a new line of open-ear wireless headphones called the Galaxy Buds On. Unlike traditional Galaxy Buds that seal the ear canal, these new models feature a clip-on design intended to wrap around the outer ear.

The device is expected to consist of two rounded modules connected by a curved bridge. One wider section would sit behind the ear, while a circular end would function as a speaker positioned near the ear opening. This design follows a trend seen in products like the Bose Ultra Open Earbuds, allowing users to remain aware of their surroundings while listening to audio.

Technical leaks indicate the headphones may utilize open-air air conduction to direct sound toward the ear without physical blockage. There are also unconfirmed reports that the device could support gesture controls, such as nodding or shaking the head to manage calls. Official details regarding battery life, water resistance, pricing, and a release date have not yet been confirmed by Samsung.
