Samsung Galaxy Buds On leaks reveal clip-on open-ear design
Leaks from Samsung’s Buds Manager app have revealed details regarding a new audio product, potentially named ‘Galaxy Buds On’ (internally referred to as ‘Able’). The device features an open-ear, clip-on design consisting of two modules connected by a flexible silicone loop, intended to sit on the outer ear rather than inside the ear canal.
Expected features include ‘Auto Volume’ to adjust to environmental noise, ‘Volume Boost’, and head gesture controls for tasks like answering calls. The earbuds are also expected to integrate Galaxy AI, supporting voice memos with transcription and providing access to assistants like Bixby and Google Gemini. The device may also include a feature that automatically pauses music if it detects the user has fallen asleep.
While the hardware is expected to be available in black and white, an official release date and pricing have not been confirmed. Current reports suggest a potential launch in the fourth quarter of 2026.
