Samsung Galaxy Buds4 and Buds4 Pro reviewed: AI upgrades and enhanced ANC

Samsung’s Galaxy Buds4 series adds a revamped platform, tighter integration with the Galaxy ecosystem and new AI‑driven features such as seamless device switching, 360° audio and unrestricted Auracast. The standard Buds4 are positioned as a practical daily ear‑bud with comfortable fit, solid sound tuning and good transparency mode, though its active noise cancellation (ANC) and detail fall short of the Pro model.

The Buds4 Pro delivers stronger ANC, higher sonic precision and a more immersive listening experience, with a modest battery advantage over the base model. Both earbuds perform well in phone calls and transparent mode, but neither reaches the very top tier in extremely noisy environments. Certain functions, notably the AI capabilities, require a Samsung smartphone. Suggested retail prices are about $180 for the Buds4 and $250 for the Buds4 Pro.
