Samsung Galaxy devices feature One UI multi-window multitasking

Samsung Galaxy devices running One UI include a multi-window feature designed to enhance multitasking. Users can divide their screens between two applications or convert apps into floating windows using specific gestures.

To enable these functions, users must navigate to Settings, select Advanced Features, and activate the Multi-window menu. This includes options for split-screen view, pop-up view, and full-screen mode within split-screen layouts. Once configured, users can use two-finger swipes to trigger split-screen or drag from the top corner to create a floating window, allowing for simultaneous tasks such as note-taking, data comparison, or messaging while viewing other content.
