Samsung Galaxy F70 development revealed via Google Play Console
Samsung is reportedly developing the Galaxy F70, the third member of its budget-friendly F series following the Galaxy F70e and Galaxy F70 Pro. The device has appeared on the Google Play Console with the model number SM-E176E and the code name ‘a17x’.
These identifiers suggest the Galaxy F70 may be a rebranded version of the Galaxy A17 5G. If this follows Samsung’s previous strategy, the hardware specifications are expected to be nearly identical to the A-series model.
Anticipated technical specifications include a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and Full HD+ resolution, potentially protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. The device is expected to be powered by an Exynos 1330 processor, with configurations offering up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
The camera setup is predicted to feature a triple-lens system: a 50MP primary sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), a 5MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro camera, alongside a 13MP front-facing camera. Power is expected to be supplied by a 5,000mAh battery supporting 25W wired charging.
