Samsung Galaxy M08 and A08 4G launch with similar budget specifications

Samsung has released the Galaxy M08, a budget smartphone featuring a 6.7-inch PLS LCD display with a 720 x 1600 resolution. The device is powered by a MediaTek Helio G99+ processor, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 2TB via microSD.

Key hardware includes a 50-megapixel main rear camera, an 8-megapixel front camera, and a 6,000 mAh battery supporting 25W wired charging. The phone runs on Android 17 with One UI 9 and is promised six major OS updates.

The Galaxy M08 shares nearly identical core specifications with the Samsung Galaxy A08 4G, including the same processor, battery capacity, display size, and IP64 protection rating. Both models utilize the MediaTek Helio G99+ chipset and offer similar camera and software support configurations, making the primary distinction between the two devices their pricing.
