Samsung rolls out One UI 9 beta updates for Galaxy S24 and Z Fold 6

Samsung is expanding its One UI 9 beta testing program, rolling out the second beta update to several flagship device series, including the Galaxy S24, Galaxy Z Flip 6, and Galaxy Z Fold 6. This update brings advanced software features previously exclusive to the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Galaxy S26 series to older flagship models.

Key new AI-driven features include ‘My FanCam’, which allows users to lock onto and track specific subjects in videos; ‘Now Nudge’, which provides proactive contextual suggestions based on on-screen content; and ‘Call Brief’, which summarizes call information. Additionally, the ‘Now Brief’ tool now supports customizable AI-generated information cards for topics like weather and health.

While the Galaxy S24 and Z Fold 6 series are receiving these updates, internal testing for One UI 9.5 is already underway for the upcoming Galaxy S26 series. Samsung advises users that these are beta builds and may contain bugs, recommending that they wait for the stable release before installing them on primary devices.
