Samsung Galaxy S26 bundle offered by MediaMarkt

MediaMarkt is offering a bundle deal for the Samsung Galaxy S26 with 512 GB of storage in Germany. The bundle includes two mobile tariffs providing 25 GB and 20 GB of data respectively, utilizing the Telekom 5G network with download speeds up to 50 Mbit/s. The total cost over a 24-month period is estimated at 804.46 euros, factoring in various bonuses and connection fees.

In the broader smartphone market, experts anticipate an average price increase of 27.6 percent for storage media by 2026, which is expected to impact device costs. When purchasing budget smartphones under 300 euros, consumers are advised to prioritize security updates and minimum hardware specifications, such as at least 6 GB of RAM. Regarding EU regulations, Motorola has stated that while updates must be free, there is no legal requirement for manufacturers to provide a specific duration of functional updates.
