CARLA second-hand shop to open new location in Mondsee

The Caritas second-hand shop, CARLA, is opening a new location in Mondsee at Herzog-Odilo Straße 19. The shop aims to promote sustainable consumption by offering well-preserved items such as clothing, household goods, and books at affordable prices.

In addition to environmental benefits, the initiative supports Caritas's social work. Donations help provide vouchers to individuals in need, and the shop offers training and employment opportunities for youth and adults facing challenges in the labor market. Donation acceptance at the new site begins on September 14, with the official opening scheduled for October 1. The organization is currently seeking volunteers to assist with sorting donations, customer service, and shop maintenance.
