Users of Samsung's flagship Galaxy S26 Ultra have reported a reddish or pinkish discoloration appearing on the screen, especially after prolonged exposure to bright light at maximum brightness. The issue was initially feared to be a hardware defect or OLED burn‑in.

Samsung confirmed that the anomaly is caused by an error in the software that manages colour calibration for the new OLED panel used in the device, not by any physical damage.
