Samsung Galaxy S27 series leaks reveal new Pro model

Leaked CAD renders and technical specifications have emerged regarding Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S27 series, expected to launch in early 2027. A significant development is the potential introduction of a new Galaxy S27 Pro model. This device is described as a more compact alternative to the Galaxy S27 Ultra, likely featuring a 6.6-inch display and lacking S Pen support.

The Galaxy S27 Pro is expected to adopt a design language similar to the S27 Ultra, including a prominent horizontal camera module that spans the top of the rear panel, a layout that draws comparisons to the iPhone 17 Pro. While it may share the 200MP main camera and 50MP ultrawide sensor with the Ultra, the Pro model is rumored to feature a more modest 12MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom.

Performance is expected to be driven by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro processor, though Samsung may utilize its Exynos 2700 chip in certain markets. Memory configurations are anticipated to start at 12GB of RAM, with 16GB options available for higher-tier models. The series may also see improvements in battery technology, with rumors suggesting the use of silicon-carbon batteries to increase capacity, potentially reaching 5,200 mAh for the Pro model.

Meanwhile, the standard Galaxy S27 is expected to maintain a design similar to the Galaxy S26, featuring a 6.3-inch display and a traditional vertical triple-camera setup. The Galaxy S27 Ultra is rumored to undergo a design refresh, potentially featuring more rounded edges to improve ergonomics.
