Samsung Galaxy S27 series leaks reveal 60W charging for Pro model

Leaks and Chinese CCC certification data suggest Samsung is preparing a new flagship lineup for early next year, including the Galaxy S27, S27+, S27 Pro, and S27 Ultra.

A significant development is the introduction of the Galaxy S27 Pro, which is expected to feature 60W wired charging, matching the S27 Ultra. This marks a shift for the Pro model, which has historically had lower charging speeds. The new series is also expected to utilize silicon-carbon battery technology to increase capacity within a smaller footprint. The S27 Pro may feature a 5200mAh battery and a 6.6-inch OLED display, while the Ultra is rumored to have a 5800mAh battery and a 6.9-inch display.

Design leaks indicate a potential distinction between standard and premium models. While the S27 and S27+ may retain current design language, the Pro and Ultra models might adopt a new rectangular camera island to accommodate larger sensors and improved thermal management. Both premium models are expected to run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro for Galaxy chipset.
